July 31, 2014. July 31, 2014. I had a dream a few weeks ago. I was in a lush green jungle of Uganda and came to what I knew was the Nile. I came to a clearing where there were three separate waterfalls coming out of the mountainside. I woke up intrigued and excited. A strong Ugandan thunderstorm came and we drank our coffee in his small dark living room. We then set out for the last, and biggest waterfall. This view was breathtaking. It was still windy and rainy, but it was so worth it. Never let me go.

August 13, 2014. August 14, 2014. Once we got to the end of the safari, we parked the car and hung out for a couple hours until our boat got to the dock. Here there were wild baboons and warthogs roaming around. The baboons would literally take food right out of peoples’ hands and climb into vans and steal backpacks. It was actually pretty funny! Here are some photos documenting the process. The album had a padded cloth cover with large metal hinges and a hasp. The spine was completely deteriorated. Inside, the still board pages were mostly separated, as the cloth hinges had torn with use. This shows the strips of board separated by the cloth hinges, allowing the pages to flex.
