History | The Community Investment Network | Inspiring people to give by design.

http://www.thecommunityinvestment.org/history

The Community Investment Network began in 2003 when the Next Generation of African American Philanthropists (NGAAP) and the Birmingham Change Fund organized as giving circles. Since then, more circles have joined the Network across the Southeast and throughout the nation. Numerous members have said that they had not known that they were philanthropists until they heard such language used in CIN spaces. 2016 The Community Investment Network Inspiring people to give by design.

CIN inspires, connects and strengthens African Americans and communities of color to leverage their collective resources and create the change THEY wish to see. Life is very short and what we have to do must be done in the now. Investing on the supply side of philanthropy by using time, talent and treasure. CIN cultivates a new cadre of philanthropic leaders from communities of color that acknowledge their civic responsibility and embrace their power to influence the community change.

Coaches of Color | The Community Investment Network | Inspiring people to give by design.

http://www.thecommunityinvestment.org/coaches-of-color

A coach supports and challenges you to create the change that YOU wish to see, starting with changes inside of you. Coaching may have a qualifying term such as: life coach, executive coach, or personal coach. What makes all coaches the same, and coaching unique, is that a coach is a person who is singularly focused on your development. What are the benefits of coaching? How do I get started with a coach? 2016 The Community Investment Network Inspiring people to give by design.
