Thurlestone is the epitome of a south Devon village with its picturesque stone and thatched cottages, medieval church and 16th century inn. It lies sleepily just above the great sweep of Bigbury Bay surrounded by the hills and fields of the glorious South Hams. The cottage itself was totally renovated and extended at the beginning of 2005 to a very high specification, rarely found in holiday cottages.
