The Couch Guys was first formed in the summer of 2006 by Matt and Ryan. Even though this story is never told the same way and the dates never match up, there are some solid facts about their history:. Matt and Ryan are the founders of TCG. Logan joined the band in late 2007. It really was summertime when this all occurred. The couch did have a bunch of signatures before it died by chainsaw. The couch actually did get chainsawed. He is indestructible. He picked up the bass in 2007 and has co-written many of the band's songs, including "Before I Go", "Hotlines", "Dead Silence", and many more.
