The Crutchfield Family

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you. Sunday, August 9, 2015. While we were at Thornwell Rocky managed to get shampoo in his eye at the groomers (which lucky for us is at a vet) and had a reaction. After seeing an opthomologist and spending the weekend in ICU he ended up having a corneal ulcer. The vet was fabulous! Good news is he learned how to use a barf bag! After a rough night! Finally an IV in the hand not arm and some sleep! Sitting with daddy in the ER. Checking out the toys!

The Crutchfield Family: July 2014

http://www.thecrutchfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you. Thursday, July 31, 2014. After Jodee and her family left we had another round of cousins come through! Two of my sisters kids and my mom came up! We had a great time! Bob taught me over the weekend how to pull tubers so I had fun taking the kids out! Henry rarely got a nap so by 6:30 he was usually out! No matter how crisp the air felt these two were in the water! Thomas really got the fishing thing down! The boys love helping daddy with the boats...

The Crutchfield Family: Art Barn

http://www.thecrutchfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/art-barn.html

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you. Monday, July 13, 2015. We have been going to the Art Barn since 2009. Hard to believe that! Yet it only gets better. Of course the price keeps going up! Visiting the farm is so much fun. We managed to be in the red barn first. We had fun playing with all the animals. The donkeys were on guard because of the new baby goats. So that was fun to listen to them warn the farm of the new animals. I say cheese Henry's response! I call this sour cheese!

The Harbin Holla: March 2012

http://callieandwyatt.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 18, 2012. It seems almost taboo not to celebrate St. Patrick's day when you live this close to Savannah. But this year, we turned down the River Street festivities in favor of strawberry picking at our favorite little farm. I couldn't be anymore in love with that place. It was such a perfect morning. Nothing could have made the morning better than and intro to Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits. With cheese (a switch from the minis). You're welcome babies. You. Are. Welcome. Not in the front yard.

Friday, October 31, 2014. Quarantined and More Halloween Prep. Then, it was time to bake some Halloween sugar cookies. I had everything ready to go, and our little baker knew exactly what do. And Adam learned from the best. While our cookies were baking, the kids got to enjoy their first Steelers game with Daddy. We weren't able to finished decorating our cookies until later in the week, but when we did they certainly passed the taste test! Friday, October 24, 2014. Checking out their pumpkins. Adam ende...

Cheers for Veres: February 2015

http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 20, 2015. This whole cooking experience was new to Adam, so I immediately had to explain that the chefs/bakers were not supposed to eat the ingredients, but those chocolate chips were irresistible! Olivia even needed to sneak a taste. I knew I needed to get their little hands busy fast, or we wouldn't have any chocolate chips to put into our cookies. Olivia started by added the flour while Adam watched carefully. Then, Adam added the salt and baking soda. Olivia added the brown sugar.

The Harbin Holla: We made it!

http://callieandwyatt.blogspot.com/2012/08/we-made-it.html

Monday, August 27, 2012. The first week of school was hectic, to say the least! Callie started cheering twice a week and Wyatt also started playing football. They both have games every Saturday so we are screwed for free-time on weekends too. With me working, and Brent going back to school, our house is a rancid pigsty of a locker we visit quickly to dump off our crap before heading out again. I can't believe they started kindergarten this week! They are so grown up and I miss them so much already! What'...

Monday, June 29, 2015. Father's Day and Other Fun. Once we all woke up from our naps, I suggested that we take the kids to the pool for some quality family time and to practice their swimming skills. I also figured that Daddy could use the Vitamin D. Daddy was so sick that he ended up taking the next 3 days off from work, and he really should have taken the whole week. He rested and got a lot of extra snuggles from the kids. The teacher had no problems with Olivia participating. And she loved! When it ca...

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Daddy was a good sport. She also gave him a pedicure which has been highly. Entertaining in this unseasonably warm flip-flop weather. Ha! The Publix deli counter lady ringing up my total. They both did great and loved it! Cathedal of St. John the Baptist. Bonaventure Cemetery - Super interesting, kinda creepy. I heart Forsyth Park. My monkey showing those monkey bars who's boss. The kiddo is freakishly strong! Brent and Heather Harbin. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Also for 2012, I...

Sunday, January 22, 2012. I decided to ski instead of snowboard because I never got good enough to like snowboarding, but I hadn't been skiing in almost 20 years! The village is so cute, but we couldn't really enjoy it since it was raining so hard. We were wet all day! After more skiing (and my face plant) we took the gondola down to the village for dinner at the Chocolate Bar. We got stuck on the gondola for 30 minutes. It was so cold! Sunday, January 1, 2012. Thursday, March 5, 2015. Unsolicited Advice for Your Wedding Registry - Non-Kitchen Edition. Today her beautiful sister, Kaity, posted a question about what to advise Lauren to put on her wedding registry. Because I'm helpful like that, I posted a link to the post I wrote last year. Kaity's question reminded me that I'd always planned to do another wedding registry post for things that were non-kitchen related. So, thanks for reminding me! 2 An emergency kit for each vehicle.
