theCSSdiv - blog of web developer Ross Bruniges, Mozilla employee, HTML pedant, beer drinker

Thinking, drinking and websites from Ross Bruniges. Bye bye hotels.com. So once again I’m moving jobs after being offered a role that I’ve been looking for since leaving Mozilla and having my 2013 summer holiday; I’m going to be the Head of Front-End Development at Possible Worldwide. Building a responsive website onto of an existing (and profitable) desktop website has been an experience (both good and bad). 8221; It’s always a question that I struggle to answer as I certainly did do a lot and at ...

Diabetic and weight loss measurements

As much as I love my fitbit I find their data visualisations a bit limited in what they do - I want to be able to see my progression through-out all measurements opposed to just monthly ones. So I did some hacking with rickshaw.js. And a plain old HTML table and came up with this. Right now it's pretty basic and shows my supreme design skills to the max but if you want to have a poke around with the code do a view source or fork the repo on github.

Thinking, drinking and websites from Ross Bruniges. Posts tagged ‘‘south africa’’. I have been getting some nice positive comments from all and sundry about my jungle trek video…. We laughed from start to finish. One of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Its great that I can hear your Somerset accent on youTube. Now while I am still adamant that I do NOT. South Africa â the only tale you want to know about! On the search for the nearby town (Natures Valley proper) and pub! I hope that none o...

The Beer roll! | theCSSdiv

http://www.thecssdiv.co.uk/beer_roll

Thinking, drinking and websites from Ross Bruniges. I do like a good beer so when someone I know, and occasionally someone I don't know undertakes the noble act of buying one for me I like to provide a little bit of thanks back; normally via buying THEM a beer and by chucking their name up on this list. LJ Lacey and James Myers. The list doesn't feel that full right now (due to awful site lag on my part) so if you don't see your name please let me know - I'll put it up here ASAP! My conferences on Lanyrd.

I think most people know that I will eat essentially anything I see on a restaurant menu. While this generally leads me to finding a number of tasty treats it can also lead to my stomach having to work overtime to handle the food I put in it. Read more. Thinking, drinking and websites from Ross Bruniges. Bye bye hotels.com. By Ross Bruniges on December 1, 2014. Thanks very much for visiting my blog. Always happy to have people read my stuff but just thought I should point out this post is years old. If it's about technical stuff there is a possibility that it is no longer relevant, if it's a bug report/fix I'm hoping that it should now have been fixed. I’m looking to recruit a lead dev to join me in the Front-End team, if you would like this to be...
