EVERYDAY MOMENTS: October 2013
http://mccainchain.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 14, 2013. These are two of the four bookcases I painted earlier this summer. The were a golden oak color before. I definitely prefer the lighter color at this point in decorating. They look great in our basement and Big Mister loves having his books on display again. I’m glad I took the time to paint them. Finishing up this post and I found a couple more pictures of another bookcase. These were from Little’s Misses Birthday party that I will blog about soon. . Friday, October 11, 2013.

Gettin' Down in Brown Town: Saturday at the Garden Tomb
http://sjbrowntown.blogspot.com/2009/12/saturday-at-garden-tomb.html
Gettin' Down in Brown Town. Monday, December 21, 2009. Saturday at the Garden Tomb. Saturday we took the kids to the Garden Tomb. Saturday is our Sabbath here. It was strange because the Palestinian children were getting out of school as we were just getting out of church and walking to the Garden Tomb. The Palestinian's observe their day of rest on Friday and the Israeli's on Saturday. I guess the Christian's follow suit with the Israeli's and observe Sabbath on Saturday. Gettin' Down in Brown Town. Monday, December 21, 2009. David and Goliath and the Bell Caves. Sunday, December 20. Today we went to visit the site where David slew Goliath. Gayle brought little slings for the kids to try practicing with and of course they loved it! After escaping being pelted to death by several thousand flying rocks, we went a saw tons of amazing caves. Some natural and some man-made. Jason and Sam squeezing through the same cave tunnel. http://sjbrowntown.blogspot.com/2009/12/mediterraen-sea-and-ceasarea.html
Gettin' Down in Brown Town. Monday, December 21, 2009. Mediterraen Sea and Ceasarea. Monday, December 21. Today we visited the ruins of Ceasarea. Herod himself (yes, the infamous man that condemned Jesus) built this amazing city. There is an aqueduct that ran from coastal city to coastal city carrying water to various cities. It was a gorgeous, beautiful day! Tell Scottie to watch out if they make a remake of Baywatch! Neat pictures. Stay Safe. December 21, 2009 at 12:27 PM. December 21, 2009 at 2:02 PM.
