Not So Deep Thoughts. Monday, July 18, 2011. What Are You - Nutz! Probably something I caught from him anyways ;-). And wouldn’t it be cool if there were some dirty little secret I could reveal here about AdventureTech as to why someone would leave such a great organization but alas, no dirt here, just another “starter” trying to find his way. Side-Note: Here are some of their blogs you should definitely check out:. Http:/ blog.troytuttle.com/. Http:/ www.integratedwebsystems.com/. I am a software engine...

http://blog.troytuttle.com/2012/10/is-kanban-agile-does-it-really-matter.html
Pragmatic Agilist, Kanban practitioner, and Systems Thinker. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Does it really matter? Steve Denning, a contributor to Forbes, published an article, Is Kanban Agile? Last week that stirred some debate in the Agile and Kanban communities. The article is a brief recounting of Michael Sahota's new ebook, An Agile Adoption and Transformation Survival Guide. The book is quite informative and interesting. The theme of Sahota's book essentially is:. Sahota's analysis qualifies Kanban as...

As different as morning and evening: Genesis 1 and 2 contradictions | God of Evolution
http://www.godofevolution.com/as-different-as-morning-and-evening-genesis-1-and-2-contradictions
As different as morning and evening: Genesis 1 and 2 contradictions. August 8, 2013. God creates the sun and the moon, in a creation account that is completely different than the one in Genesis 2 (public domain). The young-earth creationist’s worldview is built on the supposition that the book of Genesis is meant to be read as perfectly preserved, literal history, in much the same way one might read “Seabiscuit”. Or “The Devil in the White City.”. Now, turn the page. It says, “This is the. This is the fi...

Leviticus 18 and 20, Redux – Journey of a Lifelong Disciple

Journey of a Lifelong Disciple. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; but it is the glory of kings to seek it out. – Prov. 25:2. Leviticus 18 and 20, Redux. June 12, 2015. But as I have continued to meditate on the passages in question, I find there is more to say. In my previous work I didn’t look much at the language of the passages in close up, because I was arguing structurally. But looking at the passages in a bit more detail actually bolsters the argument I was making before. What do I mean?

Not So Deep Thoughts: Inception of A Geek Apart

Not So Deep Thoughts. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Inception of A Geek Apart. Figuring out a title to this blog was relatively easy for me. I’m a born software developer pretending to be one of these entrepreneurial sorts. Don’t get me wrong, I still touch code and explore technologies as hopefully this blog will touch on. In addition to that, I work in the business development side quite a bit which for an introvert like me, wow! Learning opportunities, we slowly grew AdventureTech. Posted by Travis Dietz.

Not So Deep Thoughts. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Vying For Your Time. Distractions - Everybody's Got 'em. Principle Of Neglect At Work. I know this topic well as it is one that recurs often in my lessons at church. We wouldn’t expect our relationships with our wives or children to flourish if we spent 1 hour a week or less on talking to them yet somehow we expect our relationships with God to flourish despite this neglect.yet I digress. Change would take too long. Where would I possibly get started.

Not So Deep Thoughts: Vendor or Partner–You Decide
http://blog.travisdietz.com/2011/02/vendor-or-partneryou-decide.html
Not So Deep Thoughts. Thursday, February 3, 2011. Vendor or Partner–You Decide. Relationships with these companies, while something of a gamble, work for some clients as they may get a hit on a valued resource or have the staff to sift out the talented from those lacking. More often than not, I have found many companies in our area disillusioned by staffing firms playing at professional consulting firms and do not recommend this model for anyone. Vendor-Based “Name Brand” Model. Adopted this model becaus...
