When families are forced to go bankrupt because of education or medical expenses. What good is it going to do for our society if a vast majority of young adults are saddled by debts they can’t pay back? Video and Post by Chad Favazza. You are comment...

https://occupycollege.wordpress.com/2012/04/30/no-more-excuses
Chad Favazza’s Annotated Bibliography. It has been a while since a massive movement, like The Occupy Movement and its spin offs, gained so much media attention for such a long time. But it did because these movements address problems that impact basically everyone, except the 1%. Even though it has its faults, Occupiers know that they are starting to address problems our society needs to collectively face by getting people to talk about them. Are we going to do it outside or within the two-party system?
May Day General Strike: A Retrospective | occupycollege
https://occupycollege.wordpress.com/2012/05/03/may-day-general-strike-a-retrospective
Chad Favazza’s Annotated Bibliography. May Day General Strike: A Retrospective. The call to action was simple: those who support the occupy movement’s message would not go to school or work, and instead, spend time with fellow occupiers, or just with friends and family doing something more worthwhile. What the strike organizers wanted was a day without the 99%. A day where the protesters voices would be heard the loudest. As the day wore on however, news came out of Seattle. In retrospect, the May Day ge...

The Landscape Between the 1% and the Protesting Masses | occupycollege
https://occupycollege.wordpress.com/2012/04/17/the-landscape-between-the-1-and-the-protesting-masses
Chad Favazza’s Annotated Bibliography. The Landscape Between the 1% and the Protesting Masses. Since Occupy Wall St. got started last September, the landscape between the top 1% wealthiest people and the masses has completely changed. Since bringing income inequality to the public forum, it seems as though the 1% will do anything in order to keep the power and control that they have on this world. For example, banking giant JP Morgan donated $4.6 million. To the New York Police Department (NYPD). You are...

Chad Favazza’s Annotated Bibliography. Opportunities for Occupy Grads to Implement Social Change While Gaining Experience. As being ineffective. Because many recent grads are unemployed the Occupy Movement has a vast network of people. Who can use their skill sets to carry on their messages. How can this be an opportunity for young grads to get involved and possibly use this as a potential employment opportunity? This really should be the group that Occupiers try to reach since they will be the ones dire...

The Daily Obfuscation
War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength". Tuesday, March 15, 2011. In many ways, the University of Georgia is a time machine. Katie is the classic UGA female student, a type that has changed little since the 1980s, but really has its roots in the 1950s - during the post-war boom at the then-all-white university 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. Now, while the university has skyrocketed in national rankings and academic prestige, its student body has shed any semblance of diversity. Black...
