Life Through Our Eyes. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. OUR GRAND CANYON VISIT. May 3rd -7th: David and I decided we needed to take an adults only vacation since it may be a while before we can escape just the two of us since we soon will be a family of four. We decided to go to Arizona. Below are some of the things we did. We went to a Diamondbacks baseball game in Phoenix. They have such a nice stadium. This is the fifth stadium we have visited. David and I in Sedona. Part of our hike into the Grand Canyon.

Life Through Our Eyes. Thursday, November 17, 2011. November 17th - No matter how hard I try my babies will not stop growing up. Today Liam turned 8 weeks old. He is starting to sleep longer at night (well some nights) and showing his personality. He seems really laid back and deals great with the constant noise around the house. Here are his stats from his 2 month check up - 10 lbs 13 oz (37%) and 22.5 in long (46%). Liam smiling at me, which he does more these days (and no it is not because he has gas).

Life Through Our Eyes. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. June 9th / 18th - I can't believe my baby is already 3 years old. It seems like just yesterday that she was born. Avery has been so excited about her birthday. For weeks she has talked about who was coming to her party - first it was Santa Clause and then the Easter Bunny and back to Santa. On Thursday the 9th my Mom, David and I took cupcakes to her school and had a cake after dinner. This was the first year she was able to blow out her candles.

For those of you who don't have a train-obsessed 2-year-old, Thomas is the "Very Useful Engine" of Thomas the Train. The "Day Out With Thomas" consisted of a not-worth-the -money train ride,. And a sweaty conductor who kept touching my 8-week- old's. With the waitress who was all-too forthcoming about her kid with apraxia.

Friday, July 17, 2009. It's widely accepted in this family that this kid has some sort of future in transportation. He can identify and name the following modes of transportation: hummer, bus, motorcycle, wagon, bike, airplane, tractor, truck, car, train, RV, semi-truck, crane (mode of transportation? Don't think so, but he can identify and name it, nonetheless), dump truck. JeepI feel like I'm leaving many out.but, yeah, he's got the transportation. So, there is some hope. Thursday, January 7, 2010. Andrew just keeps getting bigger and better! We had to take him to the dr. on Monday due to some funky red patches on his back and his poor sleep habits. Turns out that he just has a mild case of eczema, nothing a little steroid can't fix. We were advised to give him some Benadryl to help with the itching.and you know what that means! That's right.
