It's Kid!: February 2010
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Jacob's Big-Boy Air Mattress. I was not ready to do this, but it had to be done: Jacob is officially on the loose at night and at nap time. I enjoyed having him sit tight until I was ready to get him. But no more. It's the end of an era. Andrew's crib was falling apart and so we had to transfer Jacob's crib into Andrew's room. But, we didn't have a big-boy bed on hand yet to put Jacob in. Sooo. Air mattress to the rescue! And, man, does he LOVE IT! So, yeah, he pretty much does...

Thursday, May 13, 2010. 3/29/10=8 months, 4/29/10=9 months. Anyway, I have 2 part-time gigs, in addition to my 2 full-time gigs. I have been doing contract work for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and I have also been helping my father-in-law with his bookstore and publishing company. Maybe I'm not so horrible after all. Enough about me, though, let's talk about Captain A. Andrew, that is. He's wonderful! Despite the lack of teeth, he's eating like a champ. I haven't found anything that he doesn't lik...

It's Kid!: November 2009
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. I don't know specifics regarding his weight and height.I'll know those at the beginning of December. What I can tell you, though, is that he is a big boy! Someone asked the other day, "What is he? People seemed shocked when I say that he's only 3-months-old. "ONLY 3-MONTHS-OLD? They ask. To which I always reply, "Yep, he's a big boy! Andrew is the sweetest baby! I can't say enough good things about him! Several nights ago, he slept from 7:30 pm to 5:30 am, God love 'em! And Ma...

It's Kid!: September 2009
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. Lots to blog about from the weekend, so let's get started. The weekend kicked off with a trip to the Transportation Museum to spend "A Day Out With Thomas." For those of you who don't have a train-obsessed 2-year-old, Thomas is the "Very Useful Engine" of Thomas the Train. The "Day Out With Thomas" consisted of a not-worth-the -money train ride,. And a sweaty conductor who kept touching my 8-week- old's. With the waitress who was all-too forthcoming about her kid with apraxia.

It's Kid!: July 2009
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 17, 2009. It's widely accepted in this family that this kid has some sort of future in transportation. He can identify and name the following modes of transportation: hummer, bus, motorcycle, wagon, bike, airplane, tractor, truck, car, train, RV, semi-truck, crane (mode of transportation? Don't think so, but he can identify and name it, nonetheless), dump truck. JeepI feel like I'm leaving many out.but, yeah, he's got the transportation. So, there is some hope. Song What an awfully dull song!

It's Kid!: January 2010
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 7, 2010. Andrew just keeps getting bigger and better! We had to take him to the dr. on Monday due to some funky red patches on his back and his poor sleep habits. Turns out that he just has a mild case of eczema, nothing a little steroid can't fix. We were advised to give him some Benadryl to help with the itching.and you know what that means! That's right. This formerly I-awaken-quite-frequently-at-nap-times-and-at-night baby has turned into a regular snoozer! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

It's Kid!: October 2009
http://brianamandajacob.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Your thoughts, exactly. Several weeks ago, I had a conversation with my 6-year-old nephew, Mason, about the fact that I am a vegetarian and that I'm raising Jacob to be a vegetarian, as well. After a lot of "why" questions, typical of his age, Mason looked at me quizzically and asked, "Why are you doing that to him? Sunday, October 11, 2009. So, here I am, several weeks later with this, my first of the monthly Andrew stats and updates. He's in size 2 diapers and will go up to...
