Pickles At USU: September 2009
http://picklesinchina.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 6, 2009. The Power of The Temple. I felt completed, I felt real joy, I felt my Savior. My father stepped back and looked me in the eyes and said, "Nicole, this is it. You did it! I cannot wait for my time to go through the temple. What an incredible opportunity. This site below is an awesome article about why these temples are so important. I love this gospel so much. It's totally Epic! Http:/ www.lds.org/temples/purpose/why/0,11581,1953-1,00.html. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pickles At USU: Managua NICARAGUA Mission
http://picklesinchina.blogspot.com/2010/03/managua-nicaragua-mission.html
Wednesday, March 3, 2010. My mission call was delivered to my house at about 2 o'clock on Wednesday February 24, 2010. My mom text me to tell me it was here and I freaked out on the spot. I teared up in disbelief! Well at about 8:15 pm the doubt, fear, and wonder left my mind. I opened the envelop to find that my life in the next few months my life would change drastically. This is what it said:. Your purpose will be to invite those to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through ...

Droge Family: June 2010
http://sdroge.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 21, 2010. So, for the past year or so, Sarah has been asking (read: BEGGING) to go to the beach. Why? Well, being the consummate collector, she really wanted seashells. And she wanted them straight from the source, not some lame craft store. Well, in December, we TRIED to go to the beach during our DC/Maryland trip, but due to insanely cold tempratures and even colder winds, our beach excursion was a bit of a failure (my eyeballs received a nice sandblasting, however). Sarah the Beach Bunny.

Friday, April 15, 2011. The third and final installment in the massive picture update. These ones aren't in chronological order, since they came from a variety of sources, including my phone, which is also why the quality on some of them is not so hot. Enjoy! Sophie staring at herself in the mirror. She LOVES her reflection! Sophie's one-month birthday. We celebrated with some chocolate cake and strawberries! Ethan's preschool Thanksgiving feast. And he responded with, "No, I look HANDSOME!

Droge Family: February 2009

Sunday, February 22, 2009. This is the "before" in some ways, it looks better in this picture, because the grass and trees are green, and it's not an obvious construction zone. What you can't see in this picture is the holes in the siding, the dilapidated and rotting windows, and the fact that the roof has no underlayment and therefore leaks. A close-up of Shawn in his eagle's nest. Shawn and Becca Droge. Links to this post. We get along beautifully, and our work is different enough that we don't feel as...

Droge Family: June 2011

Tuesday, June 07, 2011. Sophie with her two favorite people! They are awesome older siblings! I think she learned some smiling skills from Uncle Steve. Apparently, so did Daddy. Dang this was supposed to be a video of her playing pat-a-cake and laughing. I'll have to try that one again later. There's just something about a sleeping baby. Hanging out with her best friend. Links to this post. Our spring has been pretty crazy, but SO fun, as we've had lots of visitors and exciting things to do.

Droge Family: September 2010
http://sdroge.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 02, 2010. The girls all decorated pink crowns. Of course, we HAD to decorate pink cupcakes! We also had little party just for family on Sarah's ACTUAL birthday. Of course, we celebrated Shawn's too, since it's two days earlier, and I didn't want to do another cake. Sarah and Shawn's cake. I thought we had normal candles. I thought wrong. I'm sorry, but you can't have a birthday 3 days before school starts and not expect to get some school clothes. Lucky for me, Sarah LIKES clothes.

Pickles At USU: October 2009
http://picklesinchina.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Not much to report :. Life has not been the most exciting lately. I feel like there isn't much I can report on to keep you all interested for very long but nonetheless I have the urge to blog right now. So to keep you updated on what has happened over the past couple months. I got a calling in church. I'm once again helping with the compassionate service committee. I swear I always get called to help with that and it's great because I love it! So school is going well. Lastly,...
