Help give someone back their sight. $25 will pay for one cataract surgery. 50 will pay for an extra bag to travel with the optometrist filled with approximately 500 glasses to distribute in 1 week. Stories of Healing and Hope. Used Glasses Donation Information. VOSO began it's first trip in Fiji back in the early 1980s and has played an immense role in the growth of the current eye programme in Labasa. We have had a strong relationship with the LIONS club, and together, have organised annual visits seeing on average between 1000 - 1500 patients and conducting 100 cataract surgeries on every trip. Helping the local Fijians is extremely rewarding and we are proud to be involved.
