Sunday, June 28, 2015. Wow that was rough! So in April I had a breakdown of sorts, due to not being with my family in NJ on Easter. In this emotionally charged moment I made the decision that I would take the kids to NJ this summer, by myself. And it would be fine. It would be great. I had to do it. Many people stopped me to tell me how genius this was, and how well behaved my kids were. I was feeling pretty good. And that's the start of our summer. Hopefully July is more restful! Rob, Lachelle and Eliza.

My goal this year was to spend as little as possible on household items. I started following Jenny at SouthernSavers.com. And “playing the drugstore game”. Ohmygosh. It is nothing short of amazing! Thursday, August 28, 2014. Sleep, elusive sleep. Here's the ridiculous thing about that smoke detector, it has done this 3 times in the one year we have lived here! The first time was Aaron's very first night in this house. The next time was the only time in history my kids have every slept past 7:00AM. It is just an evil, evil defective smoke detector that we should destroy. (And then replace it, because I'm pretty sure Aaron didn't mean it about preferring to burn to death.). Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Just getting up to date. I am a very laid back mom (probably to a fault! And so when he's following her around and freaking out because she put something in her mouth it always catches me off guard because he really hasn't seen that modeled, it's just in his nature. Monday, November 24, 2014. Thursday, November 20, 2014. Disneyland 2014. Pictures! Nathan had a rough first day. He really wasn't feeling well. He threw many fit. We just kept reminding ourselves, "At least his ticket was still free! And he still managed to smile and have a good time for most of the trip. It's Tough To Be A Bug. most terrifying show at Disneyland! Olivia asked Brer Fox where Brer Rabbit was, and this was his reaction. Along with rubbing his tummy. Nathan LOVED the characters this trip.

Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Because some day I'll forget when this happened. This is from over a month ago now, but I mean c'mon what is more blog-worthy than my first baby, losing her first tooth. And then her second, the very next day. She's still only lost those bottom two, but told me just tonight she thinks a couple more are getting lose.
