Ramblings of a Clemson fan about Clemson sports. Boston college at chestnut hill, 9/29/12. The front four also had some success pushing BC's OL back and getting two sacks. OK, one of them came from a LB blitzer, but the DL occupied the 5 interior linemen and allowed Christian that clear path to the QB. Good to see. Maybe the defensive quality curve finally bottomed out and is on the rise. We'll certainly find out next week when GT's triple option comes to the Valley. Back to the List of Posts.

(The other things that get publicized in the offseason, such as Sammy's stop by policemen, are not "fun" at all.) And the recruiting news is good. Very good. The Tigers have a commitment from the number one recruit in the nation, Robert Nkemdiche. Hope it holds. But it appears that the Tigers are putting together another stellar class, even if it doesn't. Ramblings of a Clemson fan about Clemson sports. Auburn at atlanta, 9/1/12. Clemson fans came into this game with two major questions: could our OL protect Tajh long enough for him to get a pass off and how would a young defense perform with a new coordinator? While they had to settle for a field goal, who knows what happens if Tajh doesn't make that play. And it's really hard to pick that play as the outstanding one of the game when its competition is the amazing catch by Nuk for the go-ahead TD.

Ramblings of a Clemson fan about Clemson sports. Ball state at clemson, 9/8/12. Not too much to say about this game. Clemson was heavily favored against the MAC team from Muncie, Indiana. The Tiger offense proved they should have been favored; the defense proved that they still have a lot of work to do against the run. Tigers easily won the game 52-27, but gave up 252 yards rushing to the Cardinals. The Furman game will see the return of Sammy to the lineup. Fans can't wait to see him in action again.
