Tuesday, April 7, 2009. I know that it has been a long time since the last post, but the past three weeks have been the big race to the finish, and WE MADE IT! The stucco was finished, the water heater hooked up, and the floors uncovered; not to mention the boxes and boxes that were moved in, my truck breaking down again, and the film crew shooting in the garage! Tuesday, June 30, 2009. From fire pit to sidewalk. Remember that old fire pit in the back yard? It is long gone, but now the bricks have found their way to the front yard. After 25 bags of gravel and 60 bags of sand, I started to lay the old bricks in place. The supply was supplemented by more old bricks found on craigslist. We wanted to use the old bricks so that the new walk didn't look too new. Monday, June 8, 2009. Tuesday, June 2, 2009. And green and green and green. The lawn is starting to fill in!

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. It has been a very busy week. Last week the new front door came in and we installed the new front entry. First we removed the old windows and door, and then we reframed the front wall to house our new door. Originally we were not expecting the new door until the 30th, but they called and told us it was ready for pick up the same day that we started the work! Tuesday, May 26, 2009. It has been a week since we seeded the lawn and we are now starting to see the results of our efforts! The lawn is starting to come in. We are still on a twice a day watering routine but hopefully we can start to cut that back soon. Here are a few shots of the progress! Thursday, December 16, 2010. New K Jr. Pictures! Had our second trimester anatomical ultrasound on Tuesday and everything checked out great! The tech even saw what we are having! And it is .a.surprise! Still We were able to hold out, so it will be a few more months before we know! Here are some of the latest pics! And here are a few cool 3D shots! More to come soon! Sunday, September 18, 2011. Summer 2011 picture update! As of September 12th (4 months), Kate is 12 lbs 10 oz and 25.75 inches long with a 16 inch head circumference. She had her first cereal on September 14th and is settling into her own room here in Los Angeles. This was taken somewhere in Utah, on Interstate 70, through Spotted Wolf Canyon. Thursday, October 30, 2008. OK for real this time. Expect updates to be coming very soon as our roofer is scheduled to start on Monday and Abbey and I plan to have a very busy weekend doing demo! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. It has been a long road since we first saw this house in March, and after the many stressful months we have finally made it to the end of escrow. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Water, Trash, Skylights and FLOORS! Ok, so if anyone was wondering why we were thinking of changing our main water line from the street. On the left is the old connector to the city meter, and on the right is the new one. This week I also completed the first stage of the new roof on the garage. It is now fully covered with plywood and tar paper and ready for shingles. Not a moment too soon, as we are getting rain and lots of it over the next week! Of course, with more sanding...

Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Abbey and I are so excited to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, baby Katherine Elizabeth Kawecki. Born Thursday May 12, 2011, at 3:56 pm. She was 7lbs 8 ozs, and 21 inches long. We are all home now and resting with Grammie and brother Obee. More information will come soon, but for now, due to popular demand, here are more pictures of our little angel. The nurses brought Abbey a Birthday cake for her Birthday on Saturday! Getting ready for first ride in the car.
