My dabblings in fabric, flour, crafts, etc . Korean Food: Bulgogi Bibimbap Recipe! June 22, 2015. June 22, 2015. Happy Father’s Day (yesterday) to all the wonderful dads, granddads, uncles, and all the male figures out there who are a role model/father figure to our little ones (and sometimes not so little ones…). I am lucky to have an awesome partner to help me raise our three little ones in this parenting experiment we have undertaken that we, hopefully, don’t mess up. It was such a simple crepe, too!

My dabblings in fabric, flour, crafts, etc . Early-bird Bacon and Egg Breakfast Tart. November 9, 2015. January 20, 2016. What do you do when you get up at 6am to drop off the hubby at the BART station so you don’t have enough time for your morning exercise (since that means you would need to account for shower time) and you realize you have all the ingredients (surprising, indeed) to try out the recipe you have been wanting to try for a couple months now? You hear rain outside! Bake at 425F for 8-10 mins.

My dabblings in fabric, flour, crafts, etc . Sewing with Knits: Peplum Top and Dress. April 27, 2015. April 27, 2015. We got a teaser of rain last week and it seems we are jumping right into summer temperatures with most of this week’s forecast in the 80’s. Quite unfortunate given the drought we are having here in California, but it is another reason to make some pretty tops and dresses for the warmer weather. Oh, did I mention this time I will be sewing for me! Initially, I wasn’t sure about this ...

My dabblings in fabric, flour, crafts, etc . On the Hunt for Korean and Japanese Sewing Patterns. March 30, 2015. April 7, 2015. Despite the hiccups, I was determined to finish the dress and am going to make almost every pattern in the book. I’ll have to think about the little capri pants with a sideways uni-suspender though. Direct translation of the title: My Child’s Closet. I know it’s hard to see the pictures of the patterns making up the table of contents, which is such a cute idea! Maybe a muslin-t...

Sarcasm) Finally, today was the first day in weeks where I was able to take off my sweater and sit outside in the sun without freezing my butt off, so what better way to welcome the return of our sun than to make a swimsuit! About 1/2 yard of swim fabric (depends on the size of your child). Trace your back bottom piec...

My dabblings in fabric, flour, crafts, etc . Perfectly Sweet Lalaloopsy Birthday. March 4, 2014. March 31, 2015. My daughter just turned 4! Where has the time gone? So for my little girl’s 4th birthday she wanted a Lalaloopsy theme, which was not too difficult with all the resources out there posted by wonderful bloggers and all the free printables from Nick Jr. I gleaned inspiration from birthday express. I already had her name from her room decor so used wall mount 3M brand adhesives to stick it on....
