Eden with her "boyfriend" Ryan. Busy finding eggs and did not want to be bothered with a photo. We had a great time. We missed having Papa Don with us but he was recovering from heart surgery. Thank you Grandma Mary for coming up and doing the hunt with Leah. This was Momma's first year to watch Eden hunt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). St Helens, Oregon. View my complete profile. Blessed Beyond Belief: First Day of School
http://bramangirls.blogspot.com/2012/09/first-day-of-school.html
First Day of School. Late Post. Back to school was eventful around here. Leah to school, at a public school, full time for the first time ever and Eden starting kindergarten which runs three full days a week. On the first day they were up and ready to go. Both in new shirts with plenty of smiles. Funny thing, Leah's teacher is married to one of Wade's co-workers and the Special Education teacher is the mother in law of a woman I work with. Small world out here in NE Montana. They are so adorable!

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Granola is good. Its good by itself. Its good in a bowl with milk. Its good mixed with yogurt and fruit. . Its so versatile and I love making it at home because you know whats in it and you can make it however you like. Ive bought it at the store before but its just not as good as homemade and it has an old or stale taste to it. Blech! So, without further adieu heres the recipe I use, which has been adapted from Alton Browns recipe. . 3 C rolled oats. 1/4 C coconut oil, melted.

http://madmike737.blogspot.com/2013/02/homemade-donuts.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. I love donuts BUT I don't love all the sugar and flour that goes into them so I have been trying to find paleo versions that are just as yummy. I've used 2 different recipes and have been happy with both. They are below, with my adaptations. The recipes are VERY different from each other but both turned out really good. Chocolate dipped donuts w/ coconut or icing drizzle. Cinnamon-sugar vanilla donuts w/ chocolate glaze or icing drizzle. Chocolate (or Vanilla) Donuts. 3 Pour ...

Sunday, July 10, 2011. 4 Weeks Old (almost.). Here is an update and some pictures from the last couple weeks. The first 3 weeks my Mom and/or Michael were able to stay home with me and the kids, which was so nice to help me get adjusted to having 2 kids while figuring out nursing, sleeping, eating, etc. Michael ended up taking almost 2 weeks off and we were able to go on several outings as a family.shopping, zoo, walks, etc. Caden LOVES his cousin, Joey, AND tractors! Caden LOVES elephants too! He had a ...
