The Anglo-Saxon Story - Childhood
http://www.thefivedays.com/anglo-saxon-childhood
Growing up in an Anglo Saxon childhood was not easy. You had to handle all the wars and death. Sometimes you’ll be abandoned and have to live on the streets! As an Anglo Saxon boy you were very lucky to not become a restless slave and do back breaking work like going down the coal or mineral mines for your master every day. Also you have to clean your greedy masters shoes and the rest of the families as well. If you don't do what you're told you will be whipped on the hand with a leather belt!

The Anglo-Saxon Story - Settling
http://www.thefivedays.com/settling
Instead of raiding and then withdrawing, by about 463 A.D they were beginning to settle here. The invasion consisted of a series of attacks on different parts of the country over a period of years and under a number of leaders. They settled in England in places near to rivers or the sea, which could be easily reached by boat. One of the places they settled in was Tonbridge, in Kent. Tonbridge was an ideal place to settle as it was on the main track from Hastings to London and has a river.

The Five Days
Thursday, October 31, 2013. These pictures were taken 10-14. Jacob was on an outing with a caregiver to a local outdoor mall with a huge water fountain in the middle of it. One of his favorite places. His caregiver texted me these pictures.pretty much Jacob in heaven. I love them both. Links to this post. Jacob prefers shorts, but when he does wear pants he's pretty much a jeans kind of guy. I got him a pair of khakis this week and he wore them on Tuesday to school. Looked like such a little man.
