Friday, June 11, 2010. Monisawa / Mike Blake. June 12, 2010 at 11:42 AM. Very interesting methodology utilizing spliced photos as specific reference! Eventually I think it might be hard to have photos satisfy every desire/idea, but It looks very helpful.). Your picture turned out VERY good, and has the same attitude as Beatrixs work. June 13, 2010 at 10:14 AM. I love this one Allison! June 14, 2010 at 7:31 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coolest Artists I Know. A Day in the Life (My webcomic).

Reflective surfaces are very difficult (something I usually avoid. ) I also like how you have a different reference photo for every step of your process. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Illustrative Visions: December 2009
http://allibartistry.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 10, 2009. This is a remake of the Invisible Cities piece. I decided to take the concept into a new direction that seemed to fit better. I took inspiration from several artists including Michelle Segre, Dave Martsolf, Zach Johnsen, and Andrew Michelin. I wanted to convey the city in a black and white format relying purely on pattern and value. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Drawing III Theater Project. This is an oil master study of a piece done by Sandra Flood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, June 2, 2010. June 3, 2010 at 8:32 AM. Metal is very hard to do. It wouldnt be a matter of blending modes, just more careful blending. If you decide to do your own robot I recommend having a little model and photo reference for lighting reference. I wonder if Sculpey and metallic paint would work. June 3, 2010 at 11:54 AM. June 3, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Great job. the metal looes really well done, good luck with your original. June 3, 2010 at 7:32 PM. You did a great job on this. Very impressed!

Friday, June 18, 2010. Ok, so here is what I have so far and this is the link. It is really generic right now but I'm working things out. Ideally I would like to have a video placed on the home page of just a collection of shots of me working on different pieces. Some of the sites I looked at were Zach Johnsen's. Which looks suspiciously similar to blogger, lol, but still looks very professional, Sylvia Ji's. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Friday, June 11, 2010. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Friday, June 4, 2010.
