On ANZAC eve, with everyone excluded from the southern part of the Gallipoli Peninsula, our surf boats were positioned at Gallipoli Village and made ready to re-enact the ANZAC landing. The service concluded with a wreath-laying in the water by two Australian and one New Zealand boat to mark the loss of three local students in a swimming accident in Spain.

Water distance 12 km. Rd distance 13 km. Drive time include 15 minute load and unload 30 min. Walk in time 10 min. Fastest boat (est) 90 min. Slowest boat (est) 135 min. Start race 13:00 (say 4 grids over 60 minutes) last grid start 14:00. First boat arrive Lighthouse 14:30. Last boat arrive Lighthouse 17:15.
