The Gateway to the Parks. The Gateway to the Parks is in the village of Roccacasale, in the Italian region of Abruzzo in the heart of the Appenine mountains. By car it is 1400 miles from Asda in West Bridgford, Nottingham. With more than one driver it can be done in two days but I would expect most people to come by air unless it is part of a longer holiday. On a bed and breakfast basis the prices for each room are as follows:. 1 Person – 45 euros per night. 2 people – 60 euros per night. Each additional person – 20 euros per night.
