The Glass Turtle: The little things....

http://theglassturtle.blogspot.com/2012/03/little-things.html

The ramblings of a sometimes neurotic wife, nurse, grad student, and lampwork artist. Saturday, March 10, 2012. This semester I am finding myself with a little bit of time on my hands. This is such a luxury at times I just don't even know what to do with myself! Besides trying to find my creative muse again I've been trying to catch up with old friends and it's been such a blast to see everyone but most especially my most favourite little girl - the cheeser. The Glass Turtle: Baby steps....

http://theglassturtle.blogspot.com/2012/03/baby-steps.html

The ramblings of a sometimes neurotic wife, nurse, grad student, and lampwork artist. Sunday, March 11, 2012. First attempts to meet the creative muse half way :) I have to say that even though I do like the traditional gemstone cabochons there is really something to be said for the quirky, one-of-a-kind slumped murrini. I think I might continue that line.they make me happy. Those are super pretty! June 24, 2012 at 2:23 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Me, Myself, and I.

The Glass Turtle: March 2011

http://theglassturtle.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

The ramblings of a sometimes neurotic wife, nurse, grad student, and lampwork artist. Saturday, March 5, 2011. Keeping it all in perspective. I'm still here. Another month has passed since I last wrote and I thought I'd finally sit down to put my scattered thoughts into words. Many times in the last few weeks I wanted to blog out my frustrations. There are have been so many things I've wanted to vent about but thought it prudent to keep things on the DL. Today I am thankful for so many things:.

The Glass Turtle: Welcome back!!

http://theglassturtle.blogspot.com/2012/03/welcome-back.html

The ramblings of a sometimes neurotic wife, nurse, grad student, and lampwork artist. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Has it really been THAT long? Hard to believe almost a year as passed since I last updated and the saddest part of that is what have I really done in that period of time? Sothat's what I've got for now :) I hope to see you back here soon (and I really mean that! March 5, 2012 at 7:36 PM. Happy to see you back! March 7, 2012 at 7:57 AM. Novembers Fyre Studio: Art Felt Naturals

http://novembersfyrestudio.blogspot.com/2009/02/art-felt-naturals.html

Sunday, February 1, 2009. During my extended holiday break I've discovered a new art form: dry felting with natural wool. The most amazing things can be made from wool fiber and a sharp barbed needle. You don't sew the wool with the needle; you poke or stab it. The tiny barbs on the needle cause the fibers to catch each other and intertwine. Through repetition you can actually sculpt the wool! The art work done in this medium is just incredible! Here is the second sculpture I've made. This is so beautiful.

Novembers Fyre Studio: Countdown to Halloween

http://novembersfyrestudio.blogspot.com/2008/10/countdown-to-halloween.html

Thursday, October 16, 2008. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I'm always looking for new sources of inspiration. Dover Clip Art books are one of those sources. Their newest book of clip art called "Happy Halloween" has loads of new contemporary images and fonts. I'll post a few of them over the next couple of weeks. I've sat here mesmerized by your slideshow for 10 minutes. Just gorgeous! Tag, you're it! Http:/ loribeads.blogspot.com/. October 20, 2008 at 12:47 PM. Thanks so much, Lori!

Novembers Fyre Studio: August 2008

http://novembersfyrestudio.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 12, 2008. There's a bit of crispness. . . This is my favorite time of year. August, September, and October - bring it on! I feel so invigorated. And, I get to work with some of my most loved glass colors. Monday, August 11, 2008. I HAD TO do it! I've made very few flower beads over the course of my bead making career. So. . . I guess I'm getting it out of my system! Labels: goldstone glass bead morning glory flower lentil lampworked. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. But I like it! I HAD TO do it!
