Some Favorite Web Sites. Sunday, January 31, 2010. The GREAT OKLAHOMA ICE STORM of 2010. Freezing rain began at 4am on Thursday morning. We sat in the RV and watched the ice build for a while. Small trees and branches started going down and we moved our vehicles to the picnic shelter. There is about one inch of ice on everything, and more on powerlines.
