Bible Pathways - Rose Kendall: September 2011
http://rosekendall.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 28, 2011. One Year Bible - November 9. Chap 20-23 - Last prophesies before the FALL): The Land. Is the Land of the Spirit, the Land of the Presence of God, the place of being in the Rest of God by faith. The rebels will be purged out, the others "bound" by covenant to God. Judah will be destroyed by the fires of judgment because it is polluted. The elders hardened their hearts and told Ezekiel they couldn't understand him! Also, when we delay repentance, we begin hardening our hearts.

Bible Pathways - Rose Kendall: October 2012
http://rosekendall.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 30, 2012. One Year Bible - November 25. DANIEL 1:1 - 2:23. WHO IS IN CHARGE? This is the question that gets answered in Daniel. If victory in heaven is our only victory, then the whole Bible, including each one of us, is irrelevant. Daniel is an announcement to the captives that no captivity will end in anything other than God's glory. And the destruction of the captors. Daniel is an affront to independent man who believes himself to be his own god. Man is not the center of things, God is.

http://rosekendall.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 13, 2012. One Year Bible - November 17. EZEKIEL 35:1 - 36:38. DESOLATION OF EDOM (MT. SEIR):. Edomites are descendants of Esau, and so represent the flesh. Since Edom loved bloodshed, then God would give them some! Since they hated the elect, then God would hate Edom! Edom aided Babylon against Israel, gloated over Judah's fall and planned to annex Judah for themselves. The ruin of Edom spells the rising up of Judah! Gal 3:16, 27-29 calls us the Seed of Abraham. Phil 3:3 the circumcision,.

Here is what the baskets held this week:. I like to...

A Monument to Wonder: sounds of the season
http://wondermonument.blogspot.com/2008/12/sounds-of-season.html
A Monument to Wonder. Monday, December 15, 2008. Sounds of the season. Yesterday was an unseasonably beautiful day, so it was with a light heart that I took the bus down to State street. My goal was to get all my major gift shopping (which consists of books, books and more books) done in one fell swoop. The shopping for minor gifts I can take care of a little closer to the holiday. Me, actually buying gifts to give to other people for a change! What kind of a horrible person could say no? I miss you and ...

A Monument to Wonder: scarerism
http://wondermonument.blogspot.com/2008/11/scarerism.html
A Monument to Wonder. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. People always post their crazy political opinions on their blogs, right? That's what blogs are for. That, and letting your friends and relatives know you're still alive. Sick and such, but if I take my antibiotics like a good girl hopefully it will clear up soon. I hope you all are well, also. Hard on them" variety. You are supposed to take it deadly seriously, and this bugs me. George Soros – His Utopia, Our Nightmare. But what’s most disconcerting...

A Monument to Wonder: primetime social standards, or, why Liadens should watch more TV
http://wondermonument.blogspot.com/2008/11/primetime-social-standards-or-why.html
A Monument to Wonder. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Primetime social standards, or, why Liadens should watch more TV. An original is a Code unto herself. Now, in any society, a stigma attaches to a person who deviates overmuch from social norms, whether by falling short or by demonstrating too much zeal. But do not despair, children of the children of the counter-culture! November 26, 2008 at 5:08 PM. December 7, 2008 at 5:50 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Monument to Wonder: a tale of timely asscystance
http://wondermonument.blogspot.com/2008/10/tale-of-timely-asscystance.html
A Monument to Wonder. Sunday, October 12, 2008. A tale of timely asscystance. Long time no posty! This past week I've been working hard at my temp job at the accounting company, which really is the only interesting activity I've had since leaving the stupid restaurant. (Those temperamental chefs and their excellent food and lack of appreciation of my awesomeness. Hmph.) But I had a scary time yesterday that I want to share with y'all. Don't worry, the ending is a fairly happy one. Which makes all the dif...

Lifeguard on Duty...Usually: February 2008
http://laura-bora.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Lifeguard on Duty.Usually. In the spirit of Al Gore’s ‘Go Green’ Initiative, I had a crazy (but clean burning) Idea. What if we harnessed the power of the sun to operate small electronic items such as calculators and watches? But then I realized that it would this would never work because most people live indoors, and do not own suns of their own. Thus fulfilled, I decided that I should probably start a blog. Welcome to it. Thursday, February 21, 2008. The Landlubber's Guide to Aquatics. We'll find out i...
