I Get Sweaty Hands. Posted on August 7, 2012. This morning, I successfully woke up early enough to get to the gym and not only warmup, but also do some mobility work for my knees and hips–and let me tell ya, I was glad I did as running was on the menu for the day. All in all, felt pretty good at the gym today. Here’s the met-con/WOD from this morning:. My goal going in was 3 rounds. I was super. Trying to figure out what to do this Saturday for a power/strongman/mental toughness WOD. Any suggestions?

Posted on August 9, 2012. This morning I got into the gym a touch late and was happy to see that we were looking for new 1RM on front squat. I like the front squat. Not as much as the back squat, but I like it. Been looking to progress on it too so I was pumped for this morning. Larr; Active Recovery Instead of Rest. Rest Day →. Posted on August 17, 2012. I will say, that a partner workout isn’t too bad. The best is when the workout is a mix of bodyweight and heavy stuff. George and I like to partner up because he’s awesome at the bodyweight and speed stuff and I’m good at the heavy stuff, so we usually put on a good show. In teams of 2 for time, with one partner working at a Time:. It was a lot of fun! Larr; Burpees Are Not My Friend. Overcoming Being #1 →. Be the first to start a conversation. http://2011-theyearofme.blogspot.com/2011/01/no-more-hiding.html
2011 - The Year of ME. CrossFit and Paleo vs. The World. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Unintentionally, I've been hiding behind my hair. Five years ago was the last time I cut more than a half an inch off my hair. It's been growing and growing and growing for five years. It was down to the middle of my back. I kept saying that once I lost weight, that I would cut it. Well, I cut it tonight and decided to stop hiding behind my hair! That's it for tonight! January 20, 2011 at 10:26 PM. Dave Eagle Training: January 2010

Friday, January 29, 2010. Snatch Balance, Back Squat, Press. 3 sets of 10 reps of laces to bar. Great workout today. Felt really strong on everything. Phil gave me a great cue that I forgot from Gattone's about foot position on the snatch balances. I was starting them with my feet too wide, and thus not doing the foot transition. When I changed my foot position to a jumping stance to start, the 135lbs felt a lot lighter. I'll go heavier next time for sure. Thursday, January 28, 2010. 185 x 1 - no press*.

Thursday, April 22, 2010. Vanity workout and basketball. Did a good old-fashioned 'arm' workout today. Curls, close grip bench press, tricep press downs, spider curls. Followed that up with 30 minutes of full court, 2 on 2 basketball. Awesome cardio, lots of fun. Tomorrow the plan is O-lifting.Snatch followed by Clean and Jerks. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. VERY sore from yesterdays squats, run, and Bulgarian Sandbag "Around the Worlds". Took it a little easier today:. 135 x 5 x 5. Knees to elbows: 3 x 10.
