http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Mmmm life in the summer time is so wonderful! Everyone just seems a tad more relaxed. Now if only I didn't have to work 40 hrs a week, it would be perfect. ;-). I've also really, REALLY been enjoying getting to know people in my church better. The girls I go to Bible study with are great, and some families I've been getting to know just really make life fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Few of my Favorite Blogs. Playing with Guinea Pigs. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Typically every year or so I spend a chunk of time watching Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea straight through. I think what first attracted me to the movies when I was little was that Anne had red hair like me (although, unlike Anne, I've always liked my red hair! Friday, May 7, 2010. Wait, I have a blog? Playing with Guinea Pigs: 2010
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2011/01/2010.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Alright, so it's the first day of a new year. On with the obligatory blog post! Jesus is the only One who knows what 2011 holds for me, but I can look back on 2010 and see His goodness. It didn't seem like much of an "exciting" year, but as I remember things that happened, it turns out 2010 really was quite a good year! I started in a new position with my company (that fortunately came with a raise! My sister moved in with me for 5 months.

The Number Song: Thought on a chilly night during election season
http://numbersong.blogspot.com/2008/10/thought-on-chilly-night-during-election.html
When you have mastered numbers, you will in fact no longer be reading numbers, any more than you read words when reading books You will be reading meanings. - W.E.B. Du Bois. Thursday, October 2, 2008. Thought on a chilly night during election season. As I'm sure most people are aware, I am not much of a fan of politicians in general and really despise the parties. I have recently rediscovered the writings of someone else who does not like the parties. In his own words:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Playing with Guinea Pigs: December 2009
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Fortunately my fever went away the next day and I was just left with a lot of nasty congestion. That didn't disappear until Christmas day, but who can't handle a little head cold? I left for my parents' house on Tuesday afternoon after work and didn't come back into town until Monday night. I was so glad for some time off work- especially since co-workers said a few of those days were really crazy! Saturday, December 19, 2009. The gift of music.

Warnings about foods not to eat that can cause dangerously high blood pressure. All kinds of conditions that should alert me to call my doctor: dizziness, blurred vision, excessive sweating, dark urine, nausea, extreme stomach pains, limb numbness, heart palpitations, etc etc etc. Funtimes! The Number Song: August 2008

When you have mastered numbers, you will in fact no longer be reading numbers, any more than you read words when reading books You will be reading meanings. - W.E.B. Du Bois. Thursday, August 14, 2008. Looking on the brighter side. At least I was wedged into the window instead of sitting between the two people that needed seat belt extenders. At least the crying child was a few rows back instead of right behind me. At least said child was only crying for half the flight instead of the whole flight.
