Saturday, December 25, 2010. This year, with Christmas falling on a Saturday, our travels had to be fast and furious! We still had a wonderful time celebrating with family even though it was a little quicker than usual. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate together as the Lord has continued to bless our growing family! Saturday, May 1, 2010. Corey, the boys and I have been so very blessed to have had the privilege of serving at Maplewood for four years! We absolutely love our church family and are so grateful for the way they love us and serve the Lord. This past year has shown us even more clearly the beautiful hearts of our people as they've served throughout the building process this past year with diligence, patience and love. We love you all! Saturday, January 22, 2011. Is that even possible? Eleven years ago today, Corey and I walked down the aisle surrounded by our family and friends to say," I do." I don't think either of us could've imagined what all was in store for us and that at this point in our lives we'd have two precious boys, be in the process of adopting our daughter, and be serving together in an absolutely amazing church! Corey's grandma moved to Paducah several months ago, and we haven't been able to see her yet. So we decided to load up and head there for a visit. We had also found out that there was ice skating there, so we met up with some friends for ice skating and dinner afterward. It was such a fun night! Sunday, September 26, 2010. Maplewood's Building Dedication Sunday. We began the morning with a Meet and Greet so that people could tour the building and also have a chance to catch up on friendships. After the service, the ladies headed to the kitchen to finish preparations for the meal while others remained in the sanctuary for a hymn singing :) There was so much yummy food.worthy of a celebration of this magnitude! They did such a great job, and I must say I was proud/amazed/amused that our guys were man enough to wear bows! And Caleb thought they were so cool.he had to try on the costume!
