Sunday, August 24, 2008. Our latest news is that Jeff recently got the position of assistant golf professional at Bent Brook golf course. He is thrilled and absolutely loving it! He is working a lot of hours, but does not seem to mind at all. His goal is to become head pro within three years. Working in the golf industry inspires and fulfills him. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Samuel turns three weeks tomorrow! He went for his two week old check-up last week and his doctor said that he is doing great. He weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz., so he is really getting up there! He also does a half smile quite often, which is also adorable. Samuel has had an exciting couple of weeks, other than getting his heel pricked at the doctor's office. I think any new mom can attest to the sheer torture of watching that! He loves getting to meet all of his new friends and family.

Monday, August 17, 2009. Oh boy Oh boy. With that being said, we found out at the end of June that we are in fact having a baby boy. Shock and disbelief are the 2 words that came to mind when she told us. I was certain I would have only girls, just like my dad. But holy moley, it's a boy, I know, I saw "it" for myself (and now you can too. sorry son). Note to self, she and I are not going to the mall again without reinforcements (i.e stroller, 2nd or 3rd grown-up in tow, and possibly some Valium)*.
