The pub has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to the original rustic nature and surroundings of the 17th Century Inn, creating a special atmosphere. The Inn has a spacious cobbled courtyard with tables and chairs in the Spring and Summer months, and is ideal for relaxing and enjoying a long Summer's evening. We are closed Christmas day and Boxing day.

Our pub is a hidden gem in the picturesque village of Charlwood, close to the Norman church of St Nicholas c. 1080. It is very popular with both locals and commuters from Gatwick airport, however, you would never guess that - the pub and village are quiet and peaceful!
