Touring a birth unit. July 26, 2016. July 26, 2016. Tonight we got to tour the birth unit at the hospital we plan to have bub at. The birthing room was a lot bigger than we thought it would be. Some have huge baths and they all have these showers with 2 heads – one normal and one removable so we can put it wherever gives the most pain relief. It’s good to know where we need to go when the time comes. Yes – Carla is only 17 weeks tomorrow but we are very organised people. The hhappily ever after girls.

8216;Do a little dance…’. May 31, 2016. May 31, 2016. We got to see our little Pingu again today! We had a quick scan with our fertility specialist, who was more than happy to cater to our request. We were in the waiting room and he was walking down the hallway to see another patient. He saw us and said (laughing), ‘I thought I got rid of you.’. This time I managed to film the heartbeat. Last time I forgot to switch my phone to video so all we had was 2 photos haha. Just a little bit chilly! May 30, 2016.

April 5, 2016. April 5, 2016. Two nights ago was the first of the Orgalutran injections. I knew they would hurt more than the others and I was right! The needle tip is blunter than any of the others we have used. it requires just a little more pressure to push it in. I was already nervous and had a little bit of a teary moment – I usually do before any new kind of needle. I know it stresses Carla out a little but I can’t help it. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? My mummies love me…. June 6, 2016. A friend gave us a present for Pingu on the weekend. It was such a gorgeous gesture and it was Pingu’s first present! It’s so lovely to see how loved Pingu is already. We get to see Pingu again on Friday for the NIPT scan and bloods. Can’t wait! We should get the results about a week after. Can’t wait to hear how everything is and to find out if Pingu is a boy or a girl. We will be keeping it a secret until birth. We want everyone to be surprised. Glitter In The Ashes.

I know there is a long way to go but we have never got this far before so I am going to get excited.
