From our cousins, Cadyn, Lance, and Megan's graduations (we were able to make 2 of their ceremonies). To our anniversary trip to Arlington for a Ranger's vs. Astros game. To family reunions, to baby showers, to successful antique shopping with the girls. You'll notice they can't move for all the furniture in their laps! Then top with...

Building Our Life From Scratch. Add two hearts, mix well. Friday, July 29, 2011. The Many Uses of Odiferous Burlap (Part I). The love-hate relationship continued as I tried to decide how to cut the itchy, frustrating, pull-your-hair-out, difficult-to-cut burlap. But craftaholics anyonymous. Tutorials stepped in to save the day! To cut burlap straight:. 1 Use a tape measure to get the length you need, then make a cut about 1/4" (or a little more) into the fabric right next to a strand. Building Our Life From Scratch. Add two hearts, mix well. Thursday, January 9, 2014. Wow Where do I even begin? It's been over a year now since my last post, and so much has happened: we've made our house a home, God led me to a new job, we found out we were going to be parents, my dad moved to be closer to us, and most importantly, our good and gracious heavenly Father blessed us with a sweet baby boy named Cade August. Who is already almost 6 months old. But I'll sure guarantee I'll do my best! My swee...

Building Our Life From Scratch. Add two hearts, mix well. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. A Slice of Our Life. Here's a little background info on us! In my blog, I am one step closer to actually getting there. I'm a terrible klutz and I keep asking my husband to make me a giant plastic hamster ball so I won't run into anything and hurt myself anymore! Right before we got married, Lyle's brother Bradley, his fiance Brittany, Lyle, and I all went bowling. The two fiances bet the two brothers that if we beat th...

Storey Blog: March 2011
http://thestoreyfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. So I got a little snap-happy with the camera, here's your weekly photo overload. Ellie getting a little t-ball (or "golf" as she would rather call it) lesson from dad. She STILL won't let me take pictures of her! Anyone with any ideas on how to get her out of this phase? This little guy is a non-stop grinner. Post-meal, happy and fed. Looking SO much like dad, don't you think? He could spend the day on the floor just rolling from one end of the blanket to the other.

Building Our Life From Scratch. Add two hearts, mix well. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Here's the recipe for the chocolate chip waffles (another awesome recipe from my amazingly sweet mother-in-law) I promised to post serveral weeks ago!
