July 26, 2011. The other day the boys were asking me, "Mom, how many more days until our baby sister comes? At the beginning of this pregnancy, I would answer them using months, then it turned into weeks. Now that we are getting closer to baby girl's due date, I decided it was time to make a baby sister chain. I thought this would be a good way to help the boys "see" just how many more days (Yes! 1 loyal viewers said. July 25, 2011. In case you don't know. It's our Daddy's birthday today! July 23, 2011.

September 14, 2010. Summer Vacation Part 3. When in Texas, one must find a way to stay cool in the heat. What better way to cool down than to go swimming at a water park! Lucky for us, Grandpa Dan and Grandma Violet have one just down the road from their house called Splash Town. Grandma Violet, the boys, and I spent an entire day at this water park during our vacation. We decided to "upgrade" our day by renting our very own private cabana complete with our very own waitress! Here is our Cabana! While in...

April 30, 2010. Today marks day #2 for me as a single mother. Nick/Daddy is away on military duty in Turkey until May 17th. I am aready having to deal with a sick little boy (Nicholas) on my own. I know I am a nurse and all, but it's nice having a second set of hands to help out when needed. Thank goodness we have Grandma Connie and Grandpa Bob here to help me out! Lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope Nicholas feels better soon. 2 loyal viewers said. April 21, 2010. Working At The Car Wash. Last w...

December 30, 2009. I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! Santa was very good to us here at the Walter house this year. I am not sure what Stanley the Elf reported to Santa, but it must have all been good news. I think it's safe for me to say that all three boys, Nick, and I were on the "Nice" list! Christmas morning was, like always, AMAZING! Needless to say, our Christmas was definitely the Merriest! Santa brought the boys a trampoline! Noah got a talking Elmo from Santa. Joshua got a Snuggie!

Merry Band of Hooligans: October 2011
http://merrybandofhooligans.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Sunday, October 9, 2011. Our Sweet 5 Year Old - Patrick Joseph. Birthday was momentous…I can’t believe that we have a 5 year old. This was tough mentally because now we’ve got a “big kid,” not a little boy. How did this happen? Anyway, Patrick was very excited about all the fun stuff we had planned. He first celebrated in Mrs. Cannon’s class with a cookie cake. He’s really into being a cowboy right now, so for this party, we did a horse. Overall, ...

Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Monday, August 20, 2012. While we were there, we also went go-cart driving. The track was wooden and circled up and up and up. Sam even rescued a dolphin (stuffed) that someone had lost on the track. Speaking of dolphins, we took a boat ride around the bay and saw real dolphins. You can see the fins in the photos (near a small fishing boat). It was nearly impossible to get a good pic of them. To see all of the pics of our trip, follow me. Emily A&...
