The Helgoth Family

Alot has changed since the last post. We had the holidays, Joshua grew up in front of our eyes and life became a whirlwind. The boys (including Thomas) and I are trying to get into a routine since I went back to work, and things are going okay so far. Joshua is now 10 weeks old and growing way too fast. The Grandkids: Noah, Anderson, Ethan, Joshua, Haley and Levi. Ethan is more and more fun each and every day. There is always something new that he is telling us or doing to make us laugh. 1 and 1/2 months.

The Helgoth Family: September 2008

http://www.thehelgothfamily.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Well, my baby boy is a year old now. We had a great birthday party with friends and family. Thank goodness Hurricane Gustav didn't attend. Ethan is learning new things every day. We are just holding our breath waiting for him to take those first steps. Thank you to everyone that was able to help us celebrate and fill our living room with more toys! For those who couldn't be there: we missed you and here are some pictures of the wonderful day. Mommy and the birthday boy. Ethan and his cousin Levi.

The Helgoth Family: December 2008

http://www.thehelgothfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

My side of the family has started having dinners every other Friday night at different houses. It has been wonderful! The dinner was at our house this year and we also had a gift exchange to celebrate Christmas. Here are a few of the pictures that we took. All of those not relaxing on the couch were, of course, in the kitchen near the grub. Natalie trying to teach Avery the art of gift opening for her first Christmas. Levi checking out his new train. Ethan opening his present from Levi. Ethan and Papa Ron.

Ethan is over 6 months old now, and my how he has grown. His bouncer is the greatest invention ever! He can bounce forever if we let him. Lately he has been rolling all over the living room, talking jibberish, and eating semi-solid foods (baby food). He loves the bananas the best so far. Peaches have not gotten a rave review. Mommy and Daddy made it through the first vacation without their little guy. It was tough, but we managed to enjoy ourselves in Jamaica. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Helgoth Family: September 2009

http://www.thehelgothfamily.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Believe it or not. I have updated the blog! Many things have been going on in the Helgoth household since the last post many many moons ago. Ethan just celebrated his second birthday on August 30th and Mommy and Daddy are busy preparing for his little brother to arrive in November! Everything else is moving right along as usual. I have been at my new Target in Atascocita for a year now and we are growing fast! Blowing out our birthday candles! Mommy and I playing at the Cowboy Museum in Oklahoma.

See Who's Two!!!: Christmas Morning

http://colinsteve.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-morning.html

Colin, That's Who! Saturday, December 25, 2010. It finally came. The day Mama had been talking about since Thanksgiving: Christmas Morning. Some of us were quite sleepy, but I was ready to open presents! I must have been at least half-way decent this year because Santa brought me lots of fun stuff like a chalk board art center, a train set, a remote control car. The list goes on and on. I must have been quite good, actually. It was Char's first Christmas, so I had to help her a little. The Lights at Rhema.

The Copacabana: April 2010

http://copefamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

JT, Katie, Taylor and Emma Kate. Thursday, April 29, 2010. The picture finally came from the Easter Eggstravaganza that we ordered. Sorry its a little lopsided, but I was trying to scan it - Taylor had just woken up from her nap and I was in a hurry to get it done before she started wailing for me to come get her.  Regardless, there it is! 160;And get me down! I just knew she would SCREAM when we put her in the bunny's lap, but she didn't and was fine for a whole 10 seconds.  Then she lost it. Here we ar...

The Copacabana: March 2010

http://copefamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

JT, Katie, Taylor and Emma Kate. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Everyone knows how much Taylor absolutely loves dogs.  Even our friend, Karen (hi Karen! Thought of Taylor when she read in the newspaper about the dog show in town this weekend.  She emailed me the article, so we decided to take Taylor to see it.  . In the article it said on Saturday there was supposed to be 2400 dogs there.  2400 dogs? We started off looking at the, as JT called them, big furry dogs. Taylor, look at those dogs! 160; We found a sp...

Tales of a Wandering Chinaman. Lost and Found in Seoul, Part 2: Birth Family Found. Deep breath. Here we go:. Last Wednesday morning when I was at work, I was scanning through my email inbox when I noticed an unopened mail from a sender I didn't recognize. Subject line: Sister. I was feeling light-headed and dull from my sinus cold and the previous night's NyQuil, so I had to read it a couple of times to realize what it said. I'll paraphrase parts of it here:. Briefly I will describe our family:. We do n...
