thehesitantcyclist.co.uk | I love cycling!!! Sometimes… Maybe… Do I?

Sometimes… Maybe… Do I? Don’t worry though I haven’t ignored Gerty, we have been spending time getting to know each other on my commutes to work and back. The Drift Cafe was quite quiet at half nine, coffee ordered and pondering the breakfast menu both Jade and I decided on the scrambled egg with smoked salmon while the OH had the full English as usual. So I now ask myself the well asked question, do I like cycling? Only way to go! This entry was posted on March 22, 2015. Leave a comment. This entry was ...

Too Windy to Cycle | thehesitantcyclist.co.uk

http://www.thehesitantcyclist.co.uk/2015/03/too-windy-to-cycle

Sometimes… Maybe… Do I? Too Windy to Cycle. Half way around it was pitstop time, my walks are like my rides I need a treat to keep me going. Luckily for us there is a pub half way so for a quick coffee while sitting watching the swans and other birds. Then off for the last leg, we made it home all rosy cheeked, now hopefully the dogs will have a snooze while I put the kettle on. Better luck next week at getting out on my bike…. Sometimes… Maybe… Do I? Sundays come round quickly and my treat this week is cake at Caffe Bertorelli. In Newbiggin, I love cake nearly as much as my cup of tea. So with the dangled carrot we set off on a shorter ride than last week as my behind is still not right (and I think the other half was sick of me complaining about it lol). I now really understand that the bike is as important as the rider, and I love my bike 🙂. This entry was posted on February 22, 2015. This entry was posted on February 15, 2...

Starting Over Again - blogtribe

http://blog.the-tribe.me.uk/2015/02/16/starting-over-again

The Insane And Infrequent Ramblings Of thetribe. For 15.5 miles I averaged 15mph , the final incline killed me and my time :-(. Although my Druridge&Back segment average was 15.3mph and that doesn’t include the warm up and cool down bits to and from home to the place I start all my main segments so I’m happy with that. I’m getting back some of last years fitness that I seem to have misplaced ;-). Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.

http://blog.the-tribe.me.uk/2015/02/15/drift-cafe

The Insane And Infrequent Ramblings Of thetribe. Today was the first of the Cake Stop rides of myself and Bev, The Hesitant Cyclist. Yup we finally got out. Bev was still a little tender after her Roller Skating incident last week but was determined to get out on her bike so we went. She felt every little bump on the way round but never gave up and managed 12 hard miles and a Full English Breakfast at The Drift Cafe, Cresswell. Bev’s account is here. 2007 blogtribe - StudioPress Theme.

The Hesitant Gardener

Saturday, September 22, 2012. Welcome to the (tomato) jungle. Soon, it became evident that we had 2 problems:. Our beds were too shallow, meaning we couldn't shove the stakes into the ground deep enough in order to support the weight of our tomato plants. Our stakes were too short for our plants. Or, to put it another way, our tomato plants were just WAY TOO TALL (duh, because we are such adept gardeners). And by tall, I mean very. Tall These plants, when straightened, were well above my head. Http:/ www...
