I am at the side of the driveway at one of the houses I grew up in, my father’s house for many years. There are ants crawling out of cracks in the steps leading up to the side door of the house. I get a hose and pour a little water on the cracks, trying in entice more ants to come out – I want to see them bring out their white larvae like ants do in situations where the colony is flooded.
