STORY OF THE RB ROGERS HISTORIC HOUSE. He RB Rogers home was built in 1905 for Robert Baker and Elvirah Elizabeth Rogers. Robert was a civic and church leader and the owner of a dry goods store in Brownwood and other nearby cities. Elvirah held the distinction of being the first piano teacher at Howard Payne College.
