Capitalist model for education. March 12, 2010 — SkiMama. I had something of an epiphany this morning. Coming home from Mr.NYO’s handwriting class, I was thinking about how this class has been really great for him, I’ve really liked the teacher / OT, and I feel like I really got my money’s worth. More than, actually. What if parents actually were consumers in this model? Isn’t that what we as homeschoolers are, in part, choosing? Another reason my kids aren’t in public school.
