Saturday, May 3, 2014. The kids loved counting all of the wild chickens that roam the island. There are 3 chickens to every person on Kauai. Shaved ice.daily.is a must. We visited this spot which was located in Hawaii's first sugar plantation factory. So cool! This was at 7:00 one night. They never wanted to go in to shower. This area is called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific.". Some of that northern rain made its way to us. He also got some super cool flamingo board shorts. May 5, 2014 at 5:00 PM.

Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Wow, we are so happy to report that we have finally after several months found our dog, Vern! Kai said, "I love being able to cuddle with him.". Chloe said, "I feel like our life is so much better now with Vern.". Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Schools here again. We had an amazing summer and the reality of school starting was a hard pill to swallow. But we jumped in with a positive outlook and both girls had a fun day. Grabbed a few of their favorite books to use as decoration.

Thursday, October 31, 2013. Halloween seriously snuck up on our house this year. I feel the pressure of doing it all. As the girls get older, they hold Bobby and I more accountable for following through on holiday traditions. Some of their requests for the season: make a new Halloween craft, put spider webs up in the entry way, decorate the house, carve pumpkins, go to the patch, and trick or treat. Thursday, May 9, 2013. Every year, the girls' school throws some kind of father/daughter event. This year it was a 50's sock hop. Chloe was over joyed when she heard the theme. With the help of the Michael's poodle skirt and the Goodwill, we found some cute outfits. They danced all night, ate In-N-Out, took pictures in a photo booth, and ate cotton candy. Couldn't be Happier Dakota". Saturday, May 4, 2013. Sister Love is Strong. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Boy I Feel Old! We bought him a airplane swing.

Thursday, April 17, 2014. You're One in a Minion! You're one in a Minion" was our theme this year for Valentine's Day. The girls found the idea on Pinterest. We bought 70 Twinkies and then in an assembly line fashion, we made class Valentines. All four of us worked together one night. The girls loved the way they turned out and nobody in their classes gave out Minions. It was Twin Day at their school for Valentine's Day. Chloe loved her pink suede boots. Kai loves Saturdays. Me too! Such a cute idea!

Monday, December 23, 2013. We love Christmas lights and it has always been a tradition to drive down streets to see them. This year Bobby took us out on the boat he drives in the Long Beach harbor. We went for sushi and then cruised the harbor to see the lights on the boat parade. It was such a fun night, and we are so proud of the work that Bobby does everyday.
