Thursday, October 6, 2011. That's the last time I wrote? I'm sure it was just last week. In typical Emily fashion, I've managed to cram a kajillion things into the last 2 months. Has a mandate to promote Canadian talent, with an emphasis on the local for opening acts. We are most interested in roots-based acts, but the definition of roots is broad as you can see from our past shows. Our concerts are held on 4 Saturday evenings through the winter months. The Ron Caron Auditorium (our venue) at the Almonte Old Town Hall has been used for CBC Radio 2 Classical concerts as well as The Vinyl Cafe. We are also able to provide a Steinway Concert Grand piano on request.
