J Cola: December 2008
http://jcola.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
I'm back, and getting ready for 2009. Okay, so my New Years resolution is to update this blog. So, I thought, why not get a head start on it. I'll update a little at a time so as to not overwhelm you or myself. I will now give you a little bit of what I did during my Character Development class. First I'll show you my strange human character that I have named Emmit, and made him a tourist. Notice the bony neck and nubby fingers, and giant feet. Upsetting, isn't it? Brought to you by J Cola.

J Cola: First Page Done!!
http://jcola.blogspot.com/2010/07/first-page-done.html
I finished the first page of my new comic. Things are looking pretty good. I'm going to wait to publish it on my comic site until tomorrow, but I am so excited, I'll post it here now! But from now on, I'll only post them on DrunkDuck. Don't worry though, I'll spread the word when there is an update. Brought to you by J Cola. I wish I could do backgrounds even *half* as decent as these. July 31, 2010 at 2:03 PM. August 4, 2010 at 10:11 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I like to do illustrations.

I just completed this. I thought it was so good that I would put it up now. There was no drawing involved in this. Just making shapes and gradients. Damn That's Crafty!: Dia de los Muertos Masks
http://damnthatscrafty.blogspot.com/2009/11/dia-de-los-muertos-masks.html
Sunday, November 1, 2009. Dia de los Muertos Masks. Dia de los Muertos is one of my favorite holidays! Living in the Southwest I have noticed that this celebration has becoming increasingly part of popular culture without becoming over commercialized. If you are unfamiliar with Dia de los Muertos I highly recommend reading up on it. It is a meaningful holiday that celebrates life and death. Added bonus the decorations are amazing. Paper mache mask primed in white craft paint. This scares me pretty bad.
