A Penny for Your Thoughts?: Parmesan on my mind...
http://leftymajor.blogspot.com/2010/10/parmesan-on-my-mind.html
A Penny for Your Thoughts? Clips into the life, adventures, and random thoughts of Lauren. Tuesday, October 05, 2010. Parmesan on my mind. But, I made one ridiculous splurge. $18 for a wedge of aged Parmesan. Well, for one, it looked beautiful. I didn't know Parmesan. Could look beautiful until I saw this table stocked with Parmesan. The last time I was in the store. Imported from Italy, aged for over 24 months, a warm, pale yellow. I knew it was just what I needed. And thus, the $18 Parmesan.

A Penny for Your Thoughts?: November 2008
http://leftymajor.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A Penny for Your Thoughts? Clips into the life, adventures, and random thoughts of Lauren. Sunday, November 16, 2008. Life and Temp Work. Saturday, November 08, 2008. I have many other thoughts and reflections on politics rushing through my head at this point, but they aren't formulated enough that I want to express them right now. Instead, I thought I'd post some interesting pictures I took around my neighborhood on and shortly after election day. My vote was for McCain, but that doesn't mean I didn't c...

Crazy Croslands: June 2012
http://croslandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Coffee Table - minus the coffee. It became yellow for Easter and Spring. Jane and Maggie helping to paint it for Independence Day. Finished product. We are having fun with this little table. Monday, June 4, 2012. Here are all of the funny or totally embarrassing. Things that my kids have said. I should keep them to myself, but who am I to ruin all of the fun? And for the record the real lyrics are even worse than that. Mom, is it today? I knew it. I knew it was today.". View my co...

Crazy Croslands: January 2014
http://croslandfamily.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 3, 2014. Charlie had a birthday. He turned 9. We celebrated with a little Red Robin. Maggie, Kimber, Charlie. Maggie and Jane on Halloween. The Raccoon and the Fox. Our neighbor painted Charlie's face for Halloween. Shake weight and fake muscles. The ugly mustache was real. Jane, for your enjoyment. Every few months Gus gets his big kidney checked. Due to all of choking issues, Gus developed a messed up head. We got him a helmet to reshape his head. First moments with the helmet.

Crazy Croslands: April 2012
http://croslandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. My youngest angel daughter is a bit demanding and stubborn. I'm certain it comes from the other side of the family since I am nothing like her. We have been trying to instill good manners. I saw a glimpse of hope while she yelled from the table this morning. MOM, May you please get me more pancakes NOW! That I take from this is that she did sort of use "please" and "May I". Saturday, April 21, 2012. It is quite possible that you will never meet a sweeter boy in your life. These w...

Crazy Croslands: Memorable Pictures of the Summer
http://croslandfamily.blogspot.com/2013/08/memorable-pictures-of-summer.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Memorable Pictures of the Summer. I've been terrible at posting so here are some pics from our summer. Gus on his blessing day. This was us at Target. Gus is probably about three weeks old and Maggie wanted to hold him on her lap in the cart rather than have him in his carseat. We freaked a lot of customers out. They thought it was a doll and then he'd move or squeal. Maggie at Virginia Beach. Gus at the beach. Charlie and Gus in church. Jane's birthday dinner at Red Robbin.

A Penny for Your Thoughts?: November 2009
http://leftymajor.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
A Penny for Your Thoughts? Clips into the life, adventures, and random thoughts of Lauren. Monday, November 30, 2009. I'm sad that my digital camera is broken- this picture from my phone doesn't do this delicious sandwich justice. I'm not reinventing the wheel here, but tonight I made what I thought was a fun and slightly healthier update to the traditional BLT. I call it. The Open Face. Turkey Bacon, Spinach and Tomato) Sandwich. And here's the recipe in case you'd like to replicate it! A dash of pepper.
