Uncle Jim

Sunday, December 13, 2009. There are so many pieces, I can't tell what the end will look like. I start with the sides and build the framework that will house the story. Frustration mounts at times when I cannot seem to find the right pieces to fill in the gaps. Elation abounds when I do. Slowly as I fit more and more together I start to see the. Where the puzzle is going. I catch a glimpse of the whole. There is still so much more work to create the picture that all will see, and even then who knows.

Uncle Jim: Tis the season

http://thejamesdotcom.blogspot.com/2008/12/tis-season.html

Friday, December 26, 2008. Ah, the end of Christmas. What a day. This is the first year I have not spent Christmas with any family whatsoever. It is kind of a surreal experience. It actually has been quite awful, this entire week. I have virtually not left the bottle for days and I am foul at the moment. I wish I had a definitive answer. I'm frustrated at not being able to have provided for myself, to rely on asking, and still no gain to make. I don't like the charity. I don't like the ever-ending circle.

Uncle Jim: Gloves

http://thejamesdotcom.blogspot.com/2009/03/gloves.html

Monday, March 9, 2009. My dad bought me one. My brother gave me the other. I cherished these two. Not for ascetic beauty,. Or that they were intricate to my life. But because they meant a lot to me. Time elapsed around the simple act. My dad teaching me, my brother helping me. I can re buy a new one,. Yet it would not be the same. I have had them since high school,. And have spent incalculable time. Of use with them. Of all things that were lost,. These are some of the hardest for me.

Uncle Jim: Developing fire

http://thejamesdotcom.blogspot.com/2009/01/developing-fire.html

Wednesday, January 21, 2009. I don't know where to begin. Last Thursday I experienced something I never would have thought that i would. I watched my world burn before my eyes. It's a bit surreal to be honest. almost as if it didn't happen, but the burns on my arm and the memories I cannot seem to shake hold me in my reality. My brother and his family? The moment I dreaded arrived, my brother found me. I didn't want him to see me the way I was. I didn't want him to know that I, his younger brothe...I kno...

Life at the Zoo: Madie

http://tracieraitz.blogspot.com/2008/06/madie.html

Saturday, June 14, 2008. I put together Madie's exasaucer the other day and as you can see she is just big enough! She likes to try to eat the toys and looks at me wondering why they don't quite reach her mouth! I finally put the batteries in today and now the piano plays music and lights up. the base also makes noise but she isn't quite strong enough yet to make that work. Once her legs get a little longer and stronger though I have a feeling I will be sorry I put the batteries in! Life at the Zoo.

Tuesday, April 29, 2008. We finally did it! Mornings had become a battle ground for Bekah and I. I was always yelling at her to brush her hair and she was always telling me she had, except the big knots told me another story! I usually ended up brushing it and she ended up yelling and crying! Her comment the evening she got it cut was "mom my head isn't so heavy anymore! Bobby Jay and Madie Jean. She is now smiling at the older kids and Bobby especially loves it when he can get one from her!

So Jay was having some pretty good pain last week in his ankle and friday it got pretty bad, so he went to the doctors and they removed the cast, pin and found an infection. Where Students Come to Shop — Where Students Come to Shop

Where Students Come to Shop. Where Students Come to Shop. Help Me Win a College Scholarship! August 23, 2013. Hi, I’m James Davis and I need your votes to win a scholarship to college. I have Cystic Fibrosis and CF-related diabetes and am in the running for a scholarship from a CF-specialty pharmacy which, if I should win, would pay for most of my college expenses. I am a finalist for the scholarship, but the final determination as to who wins is being based on how many votes I can get in the next 2 weeks.

Ordered List Numbering with Scss. October 12, 2013. Recently, I encountered a very specific challenge in working on the Cru pattern library. Crus primary font is Freight Sans Pro, which looks great in most situations. However, when it comes to numerals, this font is lacking. Freight Sans Pro uses old-style figures which means that the numerals vary in height and position, with irregular alignment of characters. Auto-Numbers in the Real World. Handcrafted with ♥.
