Big boy room, coming soon. Oh this little old house. If you came over for dinner one evening, no doubt you would probably hear Dan and I discussing where to put the new baby. And where to move Porter's crib. And omigosh. Where is Sherman going to sleep? And I'm totally kidding about Sherman, he has more beds than all of us combined.) Our house hasn't gotten any bigger since we bought it back in 2007. Put the new babe in this room? Make this Porter's big boy room? And then a couple of months ago.

A shoulda been birthday. I have a two week old baby? I've recently decided to give my son an additional birthday. Porter is entitled to 10/8 as his official birthday, but also today. 10/21. Today was the day that I was supposed. Do I wish I could forget! But, that's the beautiful thing about a birth story. Every one is unique. Every one is different. And as far as I can tell, none of them go as planned. So, I'm off to remember the good, the bad and the ugly. That one falls under the "ugly" category.

This pregnancy insomnia stuff is no joke. I don't remember having it with Porter, but with this babe. With this one, I typically go to bed around 10:30pm and wake up somewhere between 3-4am. Every. Single morning. Sometimes I eventually go back to sleep. Sometimes I just lay there. And sometimes I bake. Pregnancy you guys. It is weird. No-Bake Peanut Butter Oat Squares. 1 cup peanut butter. Line a 9x9 pan with foil and lightly grease. Melt the peanut butter and honey together until smooth.
