Because how do you come up with an excuse for that? Let me give you a synopsis in a nutshell of the happenings in the Karnes' household during 2011. Rawls turned 1 in May. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Pumpkin pumpkins everywhere and not a pie to spare. So we all had an exciting and fun-filled time in North Carolina this past weekend. Paul was hiking and camping along with 35 other men in Pisgah National Forest, and Rawls and I went to see my mom and dad's new place in Winston-Salem. On Saturday, we went to a Pumpkin Patch which was alot of fun, and it had alot of neat things for the kids to do! He loves him an animal! And he got to ride a pony- first time ever! Haircuts and ...

Monday, December 19, 2011. When did Christmas get here? I do not know if it is because I am getting older or what but time just seems to be flying by! I was looking at pictures from last years Christmas and Rawls was just learning how to crawl and now he is walking/running everywhere and if there is something to climb on then he will find a way to make it happen! He is such a fun kid with a definite personality, and it has been such a fun and crazy year and a half. And actually has pretty good rhythm:).

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Paul's 31st Birthday and Thanksgiving. So, Paul turned 31 this year, and his birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year so we had a little party the Saturday before. Clemson was playing NC State, so we watched the game and had bbq with all the fixins. Although the game was a sad one, everyone still had a great time. Monday, October 25, 2010. So I have entered the blogging world! Please do not expect any thrilling, roller coaster ride excitement on here. Because at the moment some of my most exciting times are when I get to take a shower for as long as I want because Paul is watching Rawls. HAHA just kidding! Seriously though- this is a way for those near and far to follow us as we have begun another adventure in our life- PARENTHOOD! Rawls is 5 months old now, and boy has he gotten big! Saturday, October 29, 2011. We have had quite the amazing summer that seems to have flown by. Needless to say adventurous Vinnie loves the bus ride and his bus driver is really great. Vinnie is still not talking yet, but has started learning sign language. So far he has please down the best, but we are also working on eat and more. We'll continue down the path of learning sign for now to better communicate with him, but will continue to work on verbal skills also. Health wise he is doing very good! Ok ok...
