Saturday, October 31, 2009. Ashley's Pumpkin Fun Run. Ashley's school does a fundraiser run every year on Halloween. The kids run laps and this year, they got marked off on their shirt each time they went a lap. She did a fabulous job! Zack wanted to run so badly with her that he went ahead and ran a few with her. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Another art show for the family.but not daddy's! Ashley was so excited that her art work was chosen as the "best of the best" from her school. It is on display this week at the her school District's Art Show at the town hall. She was thrilled that she got to be in her own art show just like daddy does! Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Zack really loved soccer this last fall. So much so, that we enrolled him in this upcoming spring as well. He enjoyed being active and trying to chase that ball. Friday, September 3, 2010. Frisco "Best in Show". Last Spring, Josh won "Best in Show" at the Frisco art festival. As part of his prize, he got to display a dozen pieces at the Frisco town hall for the month of September. They had a very nice catered reception where they honored Josh and another artist who got "Juror's choice." It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed meeting those there that night. Thursday, September 30, 2010. The BIG, unforgettable first day of school. This story is so long overdue and is quite the funny one. We have been so excited for the first day of school. Monday, September 6, 2010. My sister Cheri has moved to Lubbock! On their trek from beautiful lush Alaska to the west Texas plains, they stopped over at our house to visit for a week. We had a blast boating, making smores, and make gigantic messes of toys everyday. We also really enjoyed making sure the returning Texans had a great Texan day at the stockyards with good BBQ! These are my favorite.my nephew really enjoying his smore. It was so fun growing up near my cousins! October 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM.

Thursday, December 11, 2008. Christmas is just around the corner and I still have lots of gift shopping to do. At least we got all our Christmas decorations up around here. The kids really enjoyed decorating this year. We had a blast putting up our Christmas Village. And decorating our tree! For our treats this year, we had Reese's peanut butter cups, Christmas M&M's, hot cocoa Chex Mix, cheese squares, candy cane Oreo's, Eggnog and sparkling grape juice! We finally saw Santa!
