The steering committee is currently refining a draft stewardship strategy (previously referred to as a management plan) for the Kimberley Forest, incorporating comments and suggestions from the public meeting and public survey. As well the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has provided some preliminary comments on the draft, which the committee is considering.

About The Kimberley Forest. Kimberley Forest – Background. Stretching nearly two and a half kilometers along the west side of the Beaver Valley, the Kimberley Forest extends north from the Beaver Valley Ski Club nearly to the former Talisman Ski Resort. A large tract of public land, in part it extends all the way up the escarpment, from the Beaver River in the bottom of the valley to the 7th Line on the west. Or Email: craig.todd@ontario.ca. When we took over the Kimberley more than twelve years ago we came into a ten-bedroom hotel catering for a maximum of twenty four guests. However, between these guests there was only one bathroom. Since that time we have continually improved our facilities and service. We are a no smoking guesthouse.
