What I’m Reading. What I’m Cooking. Elevation Madness, Part 4. June 17, 2015. Things are moving along! Now the difficult part – cutting the fabric for the dress. I bought the piece as a remnant about a year ago, so there’s no going back for more. But, with help from the Hubs, we altered the body pattern to fit the angle of the neck facing and I worked up my courage and got the two main body pieces cut out. And so it is! Now, I just have to stitch down the outer edge of the facing to complete this part of...

Of monkeys and cupcakes. Monday, April 20, 2009. Told you that I didn't totally abandon this little nook of the interweb. In an effort to use some tofu that was nearing its "best by" witching hour I opted to make some kung pao tofu. I adapted this wonderful looking recipe from For the Love of Cooking. It came out rather tasty if I do say so myself, and was quickly nommed by the boys in the house. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. I am being a very bad blogger. And I kinda don't know where the camera went.

Of monkeys and cupcakes. Monday, October 19, 2009. Now, I don't normally do reviews but I figured why not. A few weeks ago I was doing my normal shopping at the Co-op. And we needed evaporated milk for a creamy soup. Turns out they were out of it and I really did not want to cave and go for the full-fat cream monty. I get enough milk fats from cheese and whatnot, I can skip it in a soup that I will not miss it in. We ended up stumbling upon a product called MimicCreme. Thursday, October 15, 2009. Albany ...

of monkeys and cupcakes: January 2010
http://ofmonkeysandcupcakes.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Of monkeys and cupcakes. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Home made goat cheese. Even though I have made mozzarella at home, for some reason I thought the process for goat cheese would be different or more difficult. Turns out it is probably easier and with ingredients that don't involve a trip to a special market providing that you have a hook-up for goat milk or it is in your regular market. I followed Kiss my Spatula's. Draining cheese looking, well, sacky. Sunday, January 3, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://jess-josh.blogspot.com/2015/06/moments-of-month.html
Thursday, June 4, 2015. Moments of the month. She's moving and scooting all over! Trains, trains, trains! Hiking in Santa Cruz. First swing was an exciting adventure! Big sister Maggie was more than happy to push. Josh built Gretta a loft and the girls have been sleeping GREAT now that they don't share a bed and have their own spaces! Gretta had a field trip to In-N-Out Burger for school. It was fun to learn how they do everything, including cutting the potatoes for fries! I got to chaperone!

Friday, January 30, 2015. Zoe, 2 months. Time I say it almost every day. It just flies. Already its been 2 months since she's been with us, feels like longer and shorter at the same time. Thursday, January 22, 2015. Its a new year and we've been spending time at the new park we found! Loves being a big sister! It was a great t...
