May 22, 2015. I am not sure whether it is summer, too much sunshine, too much greenery or something else that has gone to my head but I seem to be obsessed with multi coloured fabrics right now. Just look at this madness:. Cushion cover in progress:. This is going to be the most luxurious cushion cover ever. The yarn here is a rainbow pack from Easyknits. My “bland” knitting is feeling a little left out😉. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). The Knitting Godde...

https://knitswithcamels.wordpress.com/2012/01
My obsession with yarn, with a bit of life thrown in. Monthly Archives: January 2012. I hope I can keep up the momentum! 9 January, 2012. 2011 saw the explosion of my yarn stash – I’m sure random skeins are breeding like rabbits in the dark recesses of the storage chest! I can never seem to close the lid completely whenever I go delving. To this end, 2012 has started off well. I have two finishes so far. Knit with Flamboyance Yarns. Blaze “Eerie” on 3.5mm needles. I think I want another one in grey.

Coop Knits: October 2012
http://coopknit.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 October 2012. Carving pumpkins is always harder than you think it's going to be! I'M JOINING IN AGAIN, because that's what I do. This time it's the Woolly Wormhead. I've knitted some of her hats before, mystery and non-mystery and they always turn out brilliantly and are so well written, I needed very little encouragement to join in this year. I'm leaning towards the reddish Malabrigo Arroyo on the end, I think it would fit nicely into my in-use hat pile. Monday, 29 October 2012. The mitten...

Coop Knits: Ally Pally
http://coopknit.blogspot.com/2013/10/ally-pally.html
Wednesday, 16 October 2013. I had a fantastic (and exhausting) 4 days at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace last week. I was there with Rowan, signing copies of my new book. I met so many people, caught up with some friends and marvelled at the fantastic clothes many of the attendees were wearing, knitted, crocheted and sewn - the creativity was extraordinary! I started and finished one sock and made a start on the second of the pair during the show:. Photo belongs to @rowanyarns). I lik...

Hello 2014 | Nativestar Knits
https://nativestarknits.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/hello-2014
Knit, Design, Play, Create. I hope you have all had a good time with friends and family over the festive period. Do you have any plans or resolutions for 2014? Rather than a resolution, this year I’ve decided to do monthly themes. I’m hoping that having something different to focus on each month means I won’t get bored or frustrated and I’ll be more productive with my time. I’m also planning on getting back into running again. I started last year with the Couch to 5k. This entry was posted in Knitting.

Festive Knitting Promotion | Nativestar Knits
https://nativestarknits.wordpress.com/2013/12/13/festive-knitting-promotion
Knit, Design, Play, Create. The festive season is well and truly in full swing now, it’s my favourite time of the year. So many pretty decorations and good times to be had. The only bit I dislike is. Presents. I love giving presents but I find it so hard to find the right one to give someone. I always want to find something really special each year and when your loved ones don’t tell you exactly what they want it can be kind of tricky! The fingerless gloves above are knit in an aran weight yarn so will o...
