Kirsten's Cooking: September 2013
http://kirstenscooking.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Simple, Delicious, and Healthy Creations to Feed your Family. Thursday, September 12, 2013. A few weeks ago I enjoyed lunch with a friend and we had lunch at her private club. The chef has been utilizing local farms for some of his ingredients and I was curious to try his "creamy onion soup with Raab. Candy onions". It was fabulous. Not too rich, but hearty enough with chunks of sweet onions and a creamy, silky background. I have been obsessed with it ever since. 2 sweet onions, sliced. 1 Tbsp olive oil.

http://kirstenscooking.blogspot.com/2014/08/summer-travels-maine.html
Simple, Delicious, and Healthy Creations to Feed your Family. Friday, August 15, 2014. I was able to make all of our food ahead of time, frozen, and then we were happy to return back to our cottage every evening to a yummy meal! We did find a great organic farm and splurged on bacon, eggs, bread, jelly, and in season strawberries. On every trip we try to find a farm and load up on seasonal produce (and in Rob's case - local honey, always). Our favorite meal - flat iron steaks with corn. Gorgeous views at...

Kirsten's Cooking: July 2013
http://kirstenscooking.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Simple, Delicious, and Healthy Creations to Feed your Family. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Our son. How can he be fifteen today? Josh is growing up. He is now inches taller than me and faster in a foot race than his dad. He is still kind, thoughtful, and funny. But, he now prefers the company of his friends. Does it make sense that we miss him and he's not even gone? As he pulls away in a very natural way, I'm reminded of years gone by. We're so proud of him! Happy Birthday Josh :). Not captured: the tulips, chocolate-covered strawberries, necklace, and beautiful card (from my wonderful children). We visited my mom and dad and enjoyed brunch on the porch and an obstacle course competition (the team of Kate, my mom, and I won), followed by bocce ball (Josh won). Next we visited with my in-laws and celebrated Aubrey's 1st birthday! Brunch a la Dad. Happy Birthday, Aubrey!

Simple, Delicious, and Healthy Creations to Feed your Family. Thursday, June 20, 2013. 1 I love the eucalyptus-mint scent from Bath and Body works, but I wish the scent wasn't so strong. I love the Citron natural hand soap from Target, but I wish the scent was stronger. 2 I am almost giddy with all of the daylight we are enjoying. Tomorrow is the longest day of the year. Part of me realizes it's all downhill from here. 7 My kids are very capable. The girls helped me clean the house in 90 minutes flat...

Simple, Delicious, and Healthy Creations to Feed your Family. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. So, I've recently acquired a new phone. I love it. The ease with which I can share my life is addicting. I especially enjoy discovering the accomplishments of others on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. So, onto my first "reality check". Here it is. What you see here are two suitcases. These have been sitting on Rob's 'side' of the room since April 14th and 21st, respectively. Why, you ask? Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
