Wednesday, November 9. Illness and the 6 Person Family. This past week has been one hectic whirlwind to say the least! So, I had the long drive to the hospital in the rain to think about it. Exhausted, we left the ER to head home with absolutely no answers and many new worries. Ruptured appendices have run their course in Dan's family. He will have radiation Monday through Friday for 6 weeks and take his chemo 7 days a week at the same time. Saturday, April 28. Then you really might know what it's like. well sort of. On Wednesday, I went with my mom and dad to St. Louis for his day of doctors appointments. It is the first time since he switched to IV chemotherapy back at the end of December that I have been able to go with them.
